Generate a printable sign and 3D models for your Wi-Fi key holder.
Download the transparent PNG for 3D printing.
This tool helps you create a multi-part 3D model for a Wi-Fi sign and key holder. First, enter your Wi-Fi details above and click 'Generate Sign' to create the visual part of the sign. Download the transparent PNG file. In your 3D slicer software (like Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, or Cura), create a base plate of your desired size. Then, import the downloaded PNG as a negative part or use the 'text' feature with the image to cut the details into your base model. To make the text and QR code a different color, simply add a filament color change at the appropriate layer height in your slicer settings. The small holes at the top and bottom are designed for the generated pegs to hang the sign and your keys.
For an even slicker experience, the large central hole is designed to hold a standard 25mm NFC tag, allowing guests to connect just by tapping their phone. After printing, you can program the tag with your Wi-Fi credentials using a smartphone app like "NFC Tools." Simply write a new record using the Wi-Fi network format and enter the same SSID and password. If you need some NFC tags, these 25mm sticker tags or these durable PVC tags work perfectly for this project.
